Please call to schedule an appointment. Please contact the office 24 hours in advance to cancel a scheduled appointment. You may be charged if an appointment is not canceled 24 hours in advance.

When the office is closed, do not hesitate to call us if an emergency arises. An answering service covers our telephone at those times and will relay your message to your therapist. If your therapist is not available, another member of our professional staff will respond to your call. When Dr. Reid is on vacation, the answering service will contact the psychiatrist on call who is covering for him. In a severe emergency, please go to the nearest hospital emergency room and ask to see a psychiatrist who will contact your therapist.

We ask that you call with prescription requests 24 hours prior to needing a refill. Dr. Reid’s busy schedule and the complexities of a case often require extra time to communicate with the pharmacy and/or the patient. Many insurance companies require authorizations which may take a full day to obtain or the pharmacy may have closed. When he is on vacation, the on call doctor requires a 48 to 72 hour notification to call in a refill.

Information about your treatment remains confidential and no information is released to insurance companies, attorneys, or others without your written consent.

Payment is required at the time of service. We accept assignment of insurance benefits and you will pay the deductibles and copayments directly to us at the time of service.
